Trying Zucchini Spaghetti For The First Time


Why have I never tried this before, I grow it every year and all I ever do with it is slice it and fry and give a bunch of it away. Oh yeah, I’m talking about zucchini, more particularly zucchini spaghetti. I finally got around to making noodles out of zucchini after all these years of hearing about it and seeing recipes, and I really like it.

Have you ever tried it? You really should. It’s really quick and easy. At least the way I made it was. Here’s what I used.

Stainless Steel Grater and a Peeler a medium sized Zucchini and some Newman’s Own Marinara Sauce, 24 Ounce; I know, I should have made my sauce from scratch but I was hungry….and feeling lazy.

Peel the zucchini (you don’t have to but I think it’s better that way), using the larger round holes on the grater slide the zucchini long ways down to make the noodles as long as possible. Drain the noodles out as well as you can then spread them out on some paper towels to dry them up a little. Heat up your sauce, pour it over your noodles and enjoy.

Yep, that easy. Now go try it. What? You don’t have any zucchini. Don’t worry if someone you know is growing zucchini they have extra.
